The Brisbane Trail Festival will take place on Saturday 18th January at Victoria Park, Brisbane (12pm – 5pm).
By attending the Trail Festival, you will be able to experience for yourself the sport of trail running and the community that is supporting the Trail Running 2032 Campaign.
The event will include:
● The official launch of the Trail Running 2032 Brisbane Olympics and Paralympics campaign at 3pm on the day. This will include the launch of a world-first standard and tool for measuring trail running circuits, standardising how distance and elevation gain are recorded in trail running races globally. A game-changer for global trail running records and future Olympic record-keeping.
● Urban trail races – 1-2km kids race, open 5km option, club relay, Trails of Glory race pitting the best QLD trail runners against the best road runners
● Trail running workshops
● Trail retailers and event exhibits, and
● Run club information stalls. We hope you can attend the Brisbane Trail Festival, which will bring the Queensland trail running community and key stakeholders together for a day of fun and to showcase the best of both the sport of trail running and our Queensland spirit.
