The Somerset Rail Trail Classic returns for its 23rd edition on Sunday, 12 July 2026, offering a unique opportunity to run, walk, or cycle along Australia’s longest recreational rail trail. With options including a 3km or 8km run/walk and a 20km or 44km bike ride along the historic Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, it’s the perfect way to challenge yourself while soaking in breathtaking scenery. There are two walk/jog/run options:
8km Run/Walk Event – Lowood to Fernvale
3km Run/Walk Event – Vernor to Fernvale
